Application form CLAT 2022 released: Check admission criteria, required documents

Consortium of NLUs published Application form CLAT 2022 on the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates can apply until March 31, 2022. CLAT 2022 will take place on May 8, 2022.

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national level entrance examination conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities for admission to the Law Schools of India, which is conducted in pen and paper mode. It is carried out for candidates wishing to complete undergraduate and postgraduate law degrees in the 22 national law universities.

CLAT 2022 Applicants can only apply through the official website, i.e. consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The first thing candidates need to do is create an account by entering basic information. Candidates can log in with their mobile phone number and password. Select the course and upload the documents. Then they can enter all the required information and then have to pay the registration fees in online mode.

CLAT 2022: eligibility criteria

The admission requirement for UG courses is that you have passed the 10 + 2 exam and achieved 45 percent for the category not reserved and 40 percent for the category reserved in the aptitude test. For the PG courses, candidates must have passed the LLB or another exam and should have achieved 50% in the aptitude test for the “not reserved” category and 45% for the “reserved” category. There is no age limit for the exam. Candidates who appear for their aptitude test can also apply.

C: AT 2022: List of required documents

The documents to be uploaded are a recent passport photo that should have a light background. The file size can be 20kb-50kb. The signature should be clearly visible in a blue pen on white paper. The file size can be 10kb-50kb. Both documents should be in JPG / JPEG format. The category certificate should be available as a PDF with a file size of 1.5 MB.

The CLAT 2022 application fees only need to be paid in online mode such as by credit card, debit card or netbanking. The fee is non-refundable. The fees for General, OBC, PwD, NRI, PIO, OCI are Rs. 4000 and for the SC and ST categories it is Rs. 3500.
