In particular, students are issued with a computer-generated grade sheet containing the scores achieved by each candidate in each subject. Like its counterpart CBSE, CISCE has decided not to publish a list of achievements this time, so no student will be graded as passed or failed. The final list of achievements will only be published after the end of the second semester of the exams.

“The candidates who appear for the exam receive a computer-generated grade sheet. This grade sheet only shows the grades that the candidates have received in the individual subjects / work they have completed for the examination in the 1st semester. The overall result, ie – certificate passed / certificate not passed / entitled to the specialist examination, will only be announced after the examination for the second semester “, CISCE announced in an official announcement.

The CISCE had also stated that the results will not be available in the offices of the Council and that the candidates’ response scripts will be kept no later than 60 days after the date of the declaration of results.

CISCE conducted the first semester exams in multiple choice question format (MCQs). Each semester comprises 50 percent of the curriculum. The exams of the first semester took place in November-December and the exams of the second semester in March-April, the board announced. Practical or project work takes place in schools if there is a corresponding situation, otherwise virtually through the schools.

The CISCE ISC math exam planned for December 29th has meanwhile been postponed to December 12th for reasons “out of control”. The board of directors had also allowed the students to use scientific pocket calculators for the mathematics test of the first semester.
