CBSE warns students of fake news about changing the exam pattern for CBSE Term 2
NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) warned students of fake news about important changes to exam patterns in CBSE Grades 10 and 12 Term 2 board exams. The CBSE made it clear that there are no new changes to the CBSE exams in the second half of the year and that the board will follow the pattern announced on July 5, 2021.

“Some online media platforms have been found to spread false information and confuse audiences by using terms such as breaking news about important changes to exam patterns in Grade 10 and 12 exams, Term 2 Board,” the latest CBSE reads -Circular.
The CBSE clarified, “The board had announced the changes to the exam template (mentioned in Circular No. 51 dated July 5, 2021). The exams of the 1st term have already been completed and the examination format for the 2nd term is also mentioned in the same circular. “
The board also advised students and parents to only check the official website, cbse.gov.in, for the latest and most authentic information.
This is not the first time CBSE has issued a circular about fake and misleading news. On December 14, the CBSE warned students of fake news alleging that the board of directors was due to the bug in CBSE class 12 Audit carried out on December 13th. On September 9, CBSE had clarified that the rumor that the board was holding questionnaires for Grade 9 and 11 in schools is fake.

CBSE is expected to host board exams for the second semester from March to April 2022. CBSE class 12, 10 exam dates for the second semester will be announced shortly on cbse.nic.in. Grade 10, 12 students can download the CBSE Board’s 2021-22 Curriculum for each subject from the official website cbseacademic.nic.in.
The Class 10, 12 Term 2 CBSE questionnaire will be in a variety of formats, e.g. Term 2 will have a duration of 2 hours. The board had also informed the students that it would only organize CBSE Term 2 or the year-end exam based on Term 2’s streamlined curriculum.
