Chirag Gupta Cat Topper provides tips on preparing for the cat exam:

CAT 2021 – PC: My result plus

The leader in the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2021, Chirag Gupta, who ended up with 100 percentiles in the exam and shared the percentile value with 8 others, has highlighted the steps to crack the CAT exam and pass with flying colors. Chirag is currently a student on the BS-ME program at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune.

“Of all the strategies, my strongest one was trying mock tests,” said Chirag. He added that this was his first attempt at CAT and that he had completed about 60 test tests from institutes such as IMS and TIME. He went on to say that a month before the exam he only made one test attempt for the second slot because he had his B-School access in the second slot.

Gupta said he started preparing for the 2021 CAT exam in March 2021 and has relied on self-paced study to improve it. In addition, Chirag has recommended CAT candidates not to split up their preparation with too many resources and to take as many mock tests as possible.

Chirag described the CAT 2021 Question Paper as moderately difficult and stated that it complied with the prescribed model of CAT. Additionally, the front runner said the pandemic didn’t affect his exam prep. He aims to enroll in one of the three best Indian Institute of Management (IIM), namely IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore or IIM Calcutta, as these three IIMs offer lucrative internships every year. After that, he would like to build his career in consulting.
