NEW DELHI: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will publish the application form for CLAT 2022 tomorrow, January 1st, 2022. The application form for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2022 will be available online at The last deadline for submitting the application form is March 31, 2022.

How do I apply for CLAT 2022?

  • Visit the official website of the Consortium of NLUs –

  • Click the CLAT 2022 link

  • Register with your mobile phone number and email ID

  • Fill out the application form by filling in details such as personal details, education details, communication details and NLU preferences

  • Submit the application form and complete the fee payment

Payment of the CAT registration fee

Candidates can submit their CLAT 2022 application fee in online mode via the payment gateway provided in the application portal. The details of the CLAT application fee are listed below.

CLAT 2022 exam details

The consortium issues the admission cards to candidates who register for CLAT 2022. The exam will take place on May 8th, 2022 in offline mode across the country. The national level entrance examination is conducted for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programs offered by 22 national law universities. UG-CLAT 2022 will contain 150 objective questions on topics such as English, general knowledge, current affairs, math, teaching and reasoning. The CLAT LLM can contain multiple choice questions as well as subjective questions from common law subjects at the final level.
