Colleges and universities set up an exam helpline | Pune news

Pune: All colleges and universities in the country must set up a hotline to answer exam-related questions from students, the state government has ordered.
The semester exams are planned for the end of January and will be held online. The government then directed the colleges to put in place a mechanism to dispel students’ doubts.
University Minister Uday Samant had announced the closure of colleges and universities by February 15 and also announced that the exams would also be held online.
This was also stated in a government notice published on Saturday in connection with the announcement in order to ensure that the examinations run smoothly.
“Colleges and universities must publish the exam syllabus, a sample paper, a questionnaire, a hotline number and other details on their website,” the statement said.
The hostels have also been closed, but foreign students are allowed to use the hostels. Students working on projects in the university’s laboratories and doctoral candidates are allowed to use the facilities in the dormitory.
The announcement also stated that if the local administration requires the use of the premises of a university for a Covid center, the management should agree to this.
