The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce a notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2021 shortly. According to sources, the release is expected to take place by the end of July 2021. The incumbent candidates are advised to visit the official website ctet.nic.in for updates.
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test is carried out by the CBSE in order to certify the qualified candidates as suitable for a position as a teacher in state schools, KVs etc. with preparation in advance.
CTET candidates must note that the CBSE invites online applications from suitable candidates after the announcement has been published. Applicants who meet the minimum requirements for admission can apply for the exam after opening the application window. CTET eligibility criteria
As with last year’s CTET exam, there is no upper age limit for taking the CTET exam. Candidates who are 18 years or older and are Indian nationals can take the CTET exam. However, applicants must demonstrate certain minimum educational qualifications in order to apply.
The CTET exam consists of two papers and CBSE sets the CTET eligibility criteria for each paper individually. For example, candidates who have passed Class 12 with at least 45% of the points and have a 2-year D.El.Ed according to NCTE regulations are suitable. In addition, those who have passed Class 12 with 50% or more are eligible if they are also a 4 year old B.El.Ed. or 2 year old D.Ed. Candidates with a university degree (50% or more points) and B.Ed qualification are also eligible for the CTET exam.
Candidates who have passed class 12 with at least 50% of the number of points and also a 4-year B.El.Ed or 4-year BA / B.Sc Ed or BA Ed / B are suitable for Paper 2 of the CTET examination. Sc Ed have. Those who have a university degree and a 02-year D.El.Ed are also eligible. Graduates (at least 50% grades) with 1 year B.Ed or 1 year B.Ed (Special Education) are also eligible. Those who have passed the degree with 45% grades and have 1 year B.Ed (per NCTE standards) are also eligible.
The CBSE sets the syllabus of each work of the CTET exam in the official notice. Candidates seeking the exam are advised to refer to the curriculum to help develop their study strategy. Each newspaper contains 150 MCQs in English and Hindi only. Candidates have 2.5 hours to complete the examination of each work.
The CTET Paper 1 curriculum covers Child Development & Education, Language 1 & Language 2, Maths and Environmental Sciences. The curriculum for CTET Paper 2 similarly covers the topics of child development and pedagogy, language 1 and language 2. In addition, work 2 also includes 60 points from mathematics / natural sciences or social sciences (at the choice of the candidate).
