Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has revised the syllabus of the Tamil Language Paper of TNPSC Group IV Exam. This time TNPSC has made the Tamil Language paper compulsory in the Combined Civil Service Group IV preliminary exams. The paper will consist of 100 objective-based questions in the Tamil language paper. The standard of the paper will be based on the SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) standard.

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts several departmental exams for different posts under the Tamil Nadu Government. TNPSC VAO (Village Administrative Officer) is a state-level exam and is one of the most prestigious exams of the state. The post of VAO is similar to the post of Mini Collector or Village Ruler.
