Economic development in India since independence with a focus on Andhra Pradesh. 7. Physical geography of the Indian subcontinent and Andhra Pradesh. 8. Disaster management: vulnerability profile, prevention and mitigation strategies, use of remote sensing and GIS in disaster assessment. 9. Sustainable development and environmental protection 10. Logical thinking, analytical skills and data interpretation. 11.
