GATE 2022 candidates demand clarity about exam dates, release of the admission card

With the continued increase in Covid-19 cases, there is increasing uncertainty about the administration of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022. As the GATE admissions card has been postponed twice, many candidates are concerned whether this would indicate the postponement of the exam . Until now there has been no official update regarding the exam. Startled by this uncertainty, candidates across the country have taken to Twitter to ask the administering body, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, for a decision on the GATE 2022 exam.

While some candidates have called for the exam to be postponed, many have expressed concern about the rising cases and have asked the Institute to reopen the application window so they can change GATE 2022 exam cities.
