How to start preparing for Dream Engineering College

The JEE Main 2022 notification is expected to be released shortly. The engineering entrance exam is expected to be conducted in more than two sessions. JEE Main is a gateway for engineering colleges across India and a gateway to IITs. Candidates seeking admission to engineering schools must appear in Paper 1 for BE / BTech of JEE Main 2022. Based on the performance in this paper, the best 2.5 lakh candidates would qualify for JEE Advanced 2022, which is the IIT access.

JEE 2022: How to Prepare

Have the JEE Main and Advanced curriculum ready and follow it through to the exam. Refer to the study materials from authentic sources required for JEE preparation. Make a realistic schedule based on the time available. Remove any unnecessary distractions and make a habit of studying at the same time each day. Take notes as you study a chapter; this will reduce your revision time.

Do your homework and homework on time to avoid backlogs. Revise and practice test analysis after each test you take and learn from mistakes. Stay disciplined and consistent. Take short breaks as you prepare. You can practice meditation or yoga for rejuvenation.

JEE 2022: curriculum

Prepare and follow a daily study plan that covers all three subjects. Do not neglect any topic or devote too much time to any topic. Read the theoretical part first, then practice the assignments. This helps to understand concepts better. If you can’t solve a problem, read the theory over and over until you get a feel for the subject.

Don’t leave a subject that you think is unimportant to the exam. Questions in JEE can be asked on any subject in the curriculum. If you are not interested in a topic, read the easier chapters first and solve problems from them in order to gain confidence in learning the difficult chapters.

Time management and your strategy for solving questions are key to getting good results in JEE. This can only be achieved through serious, dedicated practice and problem solving.

Include problem solving in your daily curriculum. Set yourself a realistic and concrete goal, about 20 tasks per day, and gradually increase your level of difficulty. Write notes about your studies. You can add important points, links, formulas, reactions, errors, and so on. Notes will help you revise it.

IIT-JEE preparation takes a long time. You understand topics, solve problems and old concepts disappear from your head. A consistent revision is necessary for efficient preparation. Check important points daily before bed.

Set small goals to get big results. The JEE curriculum looks huge at the beginning. You need to break it down into modules. Pick up one topic at a time and achieve the goals related to the topic; Once that’s over, move on to the next topic in the curriculum. Keep an eye on your performance. You will need to take tests on a regular basis to check your knowledge, speed, accuracy, and time management.

JEE 2022: Technical study tips

The pattern for the exam remains the same, but no question has ever been repeated in the JEE Advanced exam. As a task sheet for the JEE Advanced exam, the three sections physics, chemistry and mathematics are broken down. Here are some important topics and subject-related strategies:

Physics: Important chapters include mechanics, fluids, heat and thermodynamics, waves and sound, capacitors and electrostatics, magnetics, electromagnetic induction, optics, and modern physics. However, make sure that your concepts are clear on any subject. Problem solving will help you develop conceptual clarity and improve your confidence in the subject.

In physics you solve a problem, then recreate the problem, solve it, change it again, solve it again. You will notice patterns, ask and answer more complicated questions. You flush and repeat until you have a conceptual, quantitative, and intuitive understanding of what is going on.

Chemistry: Important chapters include qualitative analysis, coordination chemistry and chemical bonding in inorganic chemistry, electrochemistry, thermodynamics, chemical equilibrium in physical chemistry, and aldehydes and ketones, alkyl and aryl halides in organic chemistry. Study all reaction mechanisms and make a note of all of the reactions mentioned. Take notes as you study each chapter.

Read for Physical Chemistry by NCERT and Clear Concepts in your coaching institute. After you have finished the chapter, write down all of the important formulas in the chapter in a notebook for quick review before exams. Fill out NCERT thoroughly to solve inorganic chemistry questions. Make precise notes on each chapter.

Mathematics: Important chapters include Quadratic Equations and Expressions, Complex Numbers, Probability, Vectors and 3D Geometry, Matrices in Algebra; Circle, parabola, hyperbola in coordinate geometry; Functions, limits, continuity and differentiability, application of derivatives, definite integral in analysis.

In this subject, practice is key. In JEE, math questions are sometimes tedious and the options are close enough too, so be careful with calculations and time management. The concepts and formulas should be at your fingertips.
