The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced that the IES ISS 2021 exam will take place on July 16, 2021 this year. The commission conducts the audit to fill vacancies in the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS). . This year UPSC announced that 26 positions will be filled through the IES ISS exam.
IES and ISS aspirants may note that the first step in the selection process for recruitment is to complete the IES ISS 2021 application form. The deadline for submitting online applications was April 27, 2021. In addition, the UPSC also allowed applications to be withdrawn from May 4 to 10, 2021.

After registrations are complete and the IES ISS 2021 Admission Card is released, there is only one direction all aspirants must look and that is regular study, practice and revision. The Commission has already announced the detailed scheme and sample of the test on the official website.
As per the official IES ISS 2021 curriculum, General English and General Studies are common for both the IES and ISS exams. In addition, the curriculum for IES also includes three parts from General Economics and one part from Indian Economics. On the other hand, the curriculum in ISS contains two parts of statistics with only objective questions and two parts of statistics with only descriptive questions.
Those aspiring to join the IES / ISS as officers by cracking the national level competition exam are advised to read the detailed curriculum and develop the study strategy for the final days as there are now only a few days left. An important revision strategy in the last few days is to refer to the IES ISS questionnaires from the previous year. This can greatly improve candidates’ familiarity with the assignment paper and also increase the likelihood of encountering typical repeat questions in the exam.
Candidates may also note that the IES ISS exams will be held as offline exams as officially announced. In the IES there are two general papers with 100 points each, while the remaining subject-specific papers each have 200 points. The duration of each work is 3 hours. Similarly, there are two general papers in ISS with 100 points each, while the remaining subject-specific papers each have 200 points.
Upon completion of the examination, the Commission will publish the IES ISS Response Key on the official website. The response key is released twice, first as a provisional key and then as a final key. UPSC will raise objections to the Response Key within a specified period and based on valid objections, the final revised Response Key will be issued online. It should be noted that the IES ISS performance lists of the selection test are based only on the final answer key.
The full selection process for IES ISS 2021 recruitment includes a final interview that can only be attended by those who qualify for the written exam. Final eligibility verification occurs at this stage and candidates who successfully qualify through both stages are recommended for IES or ISS nomination based on vacancy.
