NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will shortly announce the 2022 main exam date for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). To apply for JEE Mains 2022, aspirants must have Physics, Math, and Chemistry in 10 + 2. All of these subjects are important, but most students find chemistry easy compared to math and physics. The questions asked in the JEE Main 2022 Chemistry section are theoretical rather than computational. This makes it easier to do well on the exam.

JEE Main 2022: Important topics for the chemistry department
The best strategy to prepare well for the JEE Mains 2022 Chemistry section is to analyze the IIT JEE questionnaires from the last few years and strengthen all concepts accordingly.
The mole concept is one of the most important concepts in physical chemistry, and to develop a solid understanding of it, contenders must have it firmly under control. Several questions in JEE Main 2022 are based on the mole concept, so aspirants must be able to confidently master these concepts.
Based on last year’s analysis, 2 to 3 questions are generally asked about atomic structure. That being said, the other topics on which the chemistry section of the main JEE exam is based are kinetics, electrochemistry, equilibrium, thermodynamics, etc. All of these questions have equal weighting in the chemistry section of the JEE main exam. Aspirants must also relate to other inorganic chemistry topics to score more.
In the chemistry area of the JEE Main 2022 exam, several conceptual questions made up of s, p, d and f block elements are also asked. Applicants preparing for the JEE Mains 2022 exam must understand it through visualization so that its complex properties and compositions can be easily understood.
The most common practice, as suggested by JEE main toppers and educators, is to understand the reactions and be good at the periodic table. You also need to be familiar with the trends like electron affinity, electronegativity, electrode potential and ionization atom radius, etc.
In addition to inorganic chemistry, aspirants must also attach the same importance to organic chemistry. This section of the NTA JEE Main Questionnaire is just as simply put as compared to the inorganic
The entire part of organic chemistry could be easily understood if you are familiar with the general subjects like reaction mode, electrophiles, basicity, nucleophiles, acidity, etc. Another section in organic chemistry is called reactions. Aspirants need to know all of these mentioned reactions along with their mechanisms in order to be able to easily solve similar types of problems posed in the question paper.
Organic synthesis is one of the important and conceptual aspects of organic chemistry and 2 to 3 questions are asked on it every year. Aspirants must write specific steps to synthesize a specific compound using the reagents provided, as well as missing chemicals in a specific step of the synthesis.
