Indian Coast Guard Navik Recruiting 2022: Essential Books, Preparation Tips

The Indian Coast Guard Navik Recruitment Portal (ICGN), 2022 is now open, but only for male candidates. Interested candidates can registration form on the official website.

The official exam date will be announced shortly. Candidates aged 18-22 can apply for the Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch) and Yantrik positions until January 14, 2022.

In addition, the Navik entrance tickets will be given to the successfully registered candidates a few days before the exam date. The examination schedule is still made available to the candidates by the supervisory body.

The ICG Navik Recruitment Exam is conducted in four phases. Level 1 comprises five different types of work that are compulsory for all applicants, regardless of the position they have applied for. The questions in this paper will include sections from Grade 10 Math, Science, GC, English, and Argumentation. Candidates who applied for Navik (GD) must also try Paper II. Then candidates who applied for Yantrik must also try Paper III / IV / V based on their electrical / electronic / mechanical background. the ICG curriculum, Maximum number of points and duration depend on the work to be covered.

With the ICG Navik Recruitment exam just around the corner, candidates need to use their time carefully and prepare strategically. Here are a few tips to help out the candidates:

  • Planning is the key to cracking any exam. Develop a strategy and set up a schedule.
  • Understand the exam pattern, the types of questions asked, the weighting of different areas, and frequently asked concepts. Try to solve the essays from previous years to improve the clarity.
  • Make sure your fundamentals are good before moving on to the tough questions.
  • Read articles and newspapers to help you do better in English and GK.
  • Prepare notes: Write down all the formulas and key points in a separate book.

ICG Navik’s recruitment exam is conducted each year to recruit potential candidates for the Indian Coast Guard. Candidates who have passed 10 + 2 exams in math and physics can apply for Navik (GD); Candidates who have passed grade 10 are eligible to apply for Navik (DB), and candidates with a Diploma or B.Tech in an electrical / mechanical / electronics / telecommunications degree can apply for Yantrik. Applicants can only apply for one of these positions in a given year.

Stage I of the exam is computer-based. Candidates who qualify will be shortlisted for Level II, which includes a physical fitness test, document review, and an initial medical exam. Candidates who pass Level II will move on to Level III, which includes a document review, a final medical exam at INS Chilka, submission of original documents, and a police review.

Shortlisted candidates will be selected for Stage IV recruitment, where they will be selected for training at INS Chilka based on the earnings list and vacancies. the Indian Coast Guard results for Stage III and IV will be announced in August 2022.
