Former South African captain and wicket keeper Quinton de Kock announced his sudden retirement from test cricket with immediate effect on December 30, 2021. Covaxin safe, immunogenic in the age group 2-18: Bharat Biotech

Bharat Biotech said on December 30, 2021 that its COVID-19 vaccine Covaxin was found to be “safe, well tolerated and immunogenic” in the age group 2 to 18 years in the phase II / III study. Bharat Biotech had conducted phase II / III clinical trials to evaluate the safety, reactogenicity and immunogenicity of COVAXIN in healthy children and adolescents. This is because the vaccine was approved for use in 15-18 year olds.

SBI authorized to issue voting bonds

State Bank of India (SBI) has been authorized to issue elective bonds through its 29 selected branches from January 1st to 10th, 2022. The Ministry of Finance announced this on December 30, 2021.
