Delhi Prime Minister Arvind Kejriwal has tested positive for COVID-19. The Prime Minister announced this on January 4, 2022 on Twitter. He said he experienced mild symptoms and was isolating himself at home. He has asked everyone who has come in contact with him to isolate themselves and get tested for COVID-19.

PM Modi is now devoting development work in Manipur and Tripura
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Manipur and Tripura today and dedicate development work. He will inaugurate 13 projects valued at around Rs 1850 crore and lay the foundation for projects valued at around Rs 2950 crore in Manipur.
The drone manufacturer Garuda Aerospace is mapping 1000 UP villages as part of the Svamitva program
Garuda Aerospace recently completed the mapping of over 1000 villages in Uttar Pradesh as part of the centre’s ambitious Svamitva program. The regulation aims to establish clear property rights in inhabited rural areas. The company offers a variety of services related to drones.
PM Modi visits Punjab on January 5th
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Ferozepur in Punjab on January 5, 2022. He will lay the foundation for several development projects in the state valued at over Rs.42,750 billion. Projects include the Delhi-Amritsar-Katra-Expressway, the four-lane Amritsar-Una section, the new Mukerian-Talwara broad-gauge railway, the PGI satellite center in Ferozepur and two new medical projects in Hoshiarpur and Kapurthala.
Ranji Trophy continues as planned: BCCI President
BCCI President Sourav Ganguly confirmed on January 3, 2022 that the upcoming edition of the Ranji Trophy is proceeding as planned. It did so after there was mounting speculation about the fate of the tournament over rising COVID-19 cases in the country. The Ranji Trophy is scheduled to take place from January 13th to March 20th, 2022.
