MPPSC State Forest Service Exam 2022: Application Process Begins; Check authorization and application steps

The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission State Forest Service (MPPSC SFS) Registration Portal for Preliminary Examination 2022 is now open. Candidates can complete the application form for the positions of deputy forest keeper, forester and project manager through the official website mppsc.nic.inuntil February 9, 2022.

Applicants can either apply for the position of deputy forest keeper or forester; or they can apply for both, provided they meet the admission criteria. The exam will take place on April 24th, 2022.

Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in natural sciences or engineering can apply for the exam. In addition, the minimum age to apply is 21, and all applicants applying for the position of assistant. Forest keeper should not be older than 40 years. The age limit for the positions of forester and project manager is 33 years; for female candidates, ex-soldiers and reserved category candidates, the maximum age limit is 38 years.

The application fee for candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC (non creamy layer) is Rs 250; Candidates belonging to other categories who are not based in Madhya Pradesh are required to pay Rs 500 as an application fee. All candidates are also required to pay an additional fee of Rs 40 as a portal fee.

Candidates can complete the following steps to apply for the MPPSC SFS Preliminary Exam:

Step 1: Visit the official website

Step 2: Candidates will find the “Apply online” tab in the lower right corner.

Step 3: Now click on the available option “Link” which corresponds to the SFS check. This will take the applicants to a new page.

Step 4: Click on the “Do you know your application number” tab and fill out the application form.

Step 5: Candidates should upload their self-certified passport photo.

Step 6: Next, click the “Proceed to Payment” button and submit

Candidates can correct any errors in the application form from January 15, 2022 to February 11, 2022. Candidates must pay 50 rupees for corrections in the application form. The admission card will be available on the official website from April 15, 2022.

The MPPSC SFS Preliminary Exam is a screening test consisting of 2 papers – Paper I (General Studies) and Paper-II (General Aptitude). As far as the MPPSC SFS curriculum is concerned, questions from history, geography, Indian constitution, science and technology, current affairs, information and communication technology and constitutional organs of India are asked in Paper I.

Paper-II covers questions related to comprehension, communication skills, logical reasoning, basic math, general intellectual skills, decision-making and problem-solving. All questions are objective in nature and the answers must be marked on the OMR sheet provided to candidates. The exam can be taken in either English or Hindi. Candidates can base their preparation strategy on the curriculum and exam template provided.

Candidates who qualify for the pre-exam will be shortlisted for the main computer-based exam. Registration for the main exam takes place separately by paying the registration fee and the portal fee. The questions in the main exam are of the MCQ type, with no negative assessment.

Qualified candidates will be invited to the MPPSC interview. A physical fitness test and medical examination will then be carried out. The final performance list is drawn up taking into account the results of the candidates in the main examination and in the interview.
