National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test – Super Specialty (NEET SS), Exam 2021 was conducted today, January 10, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. According to the official notice from the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the result will be from. declared January 31, 2022.
It can be speculated that the exact results date will be released around January 24th or later based on data from previous years. NEET SS, 2020 was carried out on September 15, 2020 and the results were published on September 25, 2020. The NEET SS, 2021 exam consists of 2 parts – Part A and Part B with a total of 100 questions. Part A is weighted at 40% and deals with questions from the broad specialty courses for feeders in question. Part B has 60% weight and consists of questions from the respective super specialty course. There are 4 points for a correct answer, and a negative mark of 1 for incorrect answers.
NEET SS Tie-Breaking Criteria
In the event that candidates achieve the same number of points in a particular super specialty group, those candidates who meet the following criteria will be upgraded to a higher merit position:
- Candidates with fewer negative answers on the exam.
- Candidates with a higher score in Part B.
- Candidates with less negative answers in Part B.
- Candidates who are older.
- Candidates who achieve higher overall grades in all MBBS professional exams.
The tie-break criteria are followed in the order listed above.
Candidates who reach 50 percentiles or more are considered qualified. There will be no reservations in NEET SS. After the results are published, a joint national consultation will be carried out by the Directorate-General for Health Services. After that, the academic session begins on February 15, 2022.
NEET SS is carried out for admission to DM, MCh and DrNB super specialty courses. Candidates with a postgraduate degree in MD / MS / DNB or an equivalent qualification can take the exam. A candidate can apply for any 2 Superspecialty courses based on their qualifications.
