Eligibility Criteria for Punjab Civil Services Exam 2023:

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India, Bhutan or Nepal.
  • The age of the candidate must be between 21 and 37 years.
  • The candidate must have completed his studies at a recognized institute.
  • Those appearing in graduation can also apply for Punjab Civil Services Examination 2023.
  • Appearing candidates may only take the pre-examination.
  • The candidate must have passed the Punjabi exam up to the matriculation level.
  • Candidate age limit should be between 21-28 for DSP and Deputy Superintendent Jails/District Probation Officer as of 1/1/2023.
  • The age limit of the candidate should be between 21 and 37 years, for other positions from 01/01/2023.
  • For the post of Assistant Superintendent of Police and Assistant Superintendent of Prisons (Grade-II) / District Probation Officer (prisons), the candidate must meet the following requirements:
  • The minimum height for males should be 5 feet 7 inches
  • The minimum height for females should be 5 feet 3 inches
  • Chest measurement for men only Unused 33 inches
  • Chest measurement for women only 34.5 inches expended

  • The candidate has to solve 180 questions.
  • The paper costs 400 marks.

  • Paper Ist includes English for 100 marks.
