The Personnel Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notice for the post of Constable General Duty (GD) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), NIA, SSF and Rifle (GD) in Assam Rifles. The recruitment campaign will fill a total of 25,271 positions.
The application process started on July 17th and ends on August 31st on the official website. Selected candidates will receive a salary between Rs 21,700 and Rs 69,100. The SSC has published the exam scheme and syllabus for the exam.
Recruitment of SSC CG Constable 2021: curriculum
SSC GD Curriculum (General Intelligence and Reasoning) – The SSC department tests the analytical ability, the ability to observe and distinguish patterns. This part of the work can ask questions about analogies, spatial visualization, similarities and differences, visual memory, distinction, spatial orientation, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic thinking, figural classification, etc.
SSC GD Syllabus (General Knowledge and Awareness) – This component tests the general knowledge of the candidate. Questions also test knowledge of current events. Questions about everyday observations and experiences in their scientific aspect are also asked. In addition, candidates will be interviewed about India and its neighboring countries, especially from the fields of sport, history, culture, geography, economic scene, general politics, Indian constitution, etc.
SSC GD curriculum (elementary mathematics) – Math problems including number systems, calculating whole numbers, decimals, fractions, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, measurement, time and distance, ratio and time, etc.
SSC GD curriculum (English / Hindi) – The fourth and final component tests the ability to understand basic English and Hindi. The basic understanding is also put to the test.
SSC CG Constable Recruitment 2021: Exam Pattern
According to the exam pattern of the SSC GD Constable, the Tier 1 exam is a multiple choice based exam that is held online. This exam consists of four sections and candidates only have 90 minutes to complete. A total of 100 questions are asked and each question is given a grade. All questions of the four components correspond to the 10th standard.
The ex-soldiers who can take the computerized exam will appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). This section measures the candidate’s height, chest and weight. Former soldiers, however, will not appear for the PET. You must take the medical examination (DME).
In the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), the male candidates have to cover five kilometers in 24 minutes and the female candidates 1.6 km in eight and a half minutes. However, this criterion does not apply to people belonging to the Ladakh region. Male candidates from the Ladakh region have to cover the distance of 1.6 km in six and a half minutes, women from the region 800 meters in four minutes.
