The BJP leaders will be interacting with people starting Monday to seek their proposals in preparation for their manifesto for the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. Abhay Singh, co-media chief of Uttar Pradesh BJP, said the party’s public representatives, including MPs and MLAs, are already taking up proposals from the public to prepare for the “Sankalp-Patra”.
Starting January 3, members of the party’s Ghoshna Patra Nirman Samiti will be in contact with various sections of society for their advice, he said.
On January 3rd, Rajya Sabha MP Seema Dwivedi will interact with workers, academics and advocates of Allahabad. Minister of State Atul Garg will seek suggestions from workers and people in the tourism and shoe industries in Agra.
On Tuesday, Pushkar Mishra will solicit suggestions from business people, the film industry and traders while MP Rajesh Verma will interact with woodworkers in Saharanpur. Rajya Sabha MP Vijaypal Tomar will hold talks with farmers and brass industrialists. The interactive program will take place until January 7th.
Rajya Sabha MP Brijlal, UP Finance Minister Suresh Khanna, BJP Vice President and MLC Arvind Kumar Sharma, MPs Kanta Kardam and Rita Bahuguna Joshi will also hold similar programs.
On December 15, the BJP launched a campaign to collect feedback that should be included in the party’s “Sankalp Patra”. Chests were kept underneath in 30,000 places in the country.
