The process of police officer recruitment (UP Police Constable Recruitment 2022) has started in Uttar Pradesh. This recruitment was carried out by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board to fill more than 26,000 positions. Online applications will be accepted until January 27, according to the announcement published by the UPPRPB board on the official website. The exam date will be announced later.

UP Police Recruitment Process

Applicants are required to take this offline exam, which asks objective questions. Shortlisted candidates must pass the document verification process, the Standard Physical Test (PST), and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The final result will be announced based on the applicants’ performance in these exams.

UP Police Constable Exam Pattern

– This test will be offline and has multiple choice options of the objective type.

The exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions, each question is assessed with 2 points, a total of 300 points.

The exam will ask 38 questions from general knowledge, 37 questions from general Hindi, 38 questions from numerical and intellectual skills, 37 questions from intellectual skills, IQ and thinking skills.

General knowledge and numerical and intellectual skills will be 76-76 points and general Hindi and intellectual skills, IQ and thinking skills will be 74-74 points.

If the answer is wrong, there is a negative rating of 0.5 points.

– This exam lasts 02 hours.

General Hindi

In the Hindi curriculum, candidates should be asked for nouns, links, words, methods, tenses, readings, avyayas, verses, factors, pronouns, adjectives, rasa, ornaments, sandhi, samas, suffixes, prefixes, tadbhav-tatsam, punctuation, idioms become and folktales, many words, unread comprehension, poet-authors and famous works, Hindi and other Indian languages, basic knowledge of Hindi grammar – Hindi alphabet, one word instead of phrases, synonyms, synonyms, pure-impure sentences, synonyms, Antonyms, words and deeds, etc.
