UPTET exam date postponed to 2022 News was fake, admission card will be released on January 12th

A report was recently circulated on social media claiming that the UPTET trial, slated for January 23, 2022, has been postponed due to the sudden exponential rise in COVID-19 cases across the state could be. Authorities have confirmed the report and made it clear that the news is fake. Further stated that the board of directors does not consider postponing the UPTET 2022 examination and has not published any corresponding notices in this regard.

UPTET was originally scheduled for November 28, 2021 but has been canceled due to an alleged leak of exam papers in various social media platforms and has therefore been postponed to January 23, 2022 and the estimated number of candidates for the exam is more than 21 lakhs.

According to the sources, news of UPTET’s postponement began to circulate on Sunday evening, stating that TET’s chief secretary Renuka Kumar had canceled the upcoming UPTET exam, which was due to start on January 23, and soon the mail came and the news went viral as many people started sharing it without checking.

When authorities came across the message and checked it, they stated it was forged, and then the Authorized Examination Director, Mr. Anil Bhusan Chaturvedi, that the exams should take place on January 23rd as all preparations have been made.

Concerns about Covid-19 and Omicron

The emerging candidates for UP-TET exams are afraid of the increasing Covid-19 infections and the spread of the new Omicron variant. The competent authorities are therefore aware that carrying out tests in this environment will not be easy and are closely monitoring the situation.

The state government is also taking the necessary steps to slow down the spread of viruses and is implementing various measures, such as the night lock announced in the state to curb the spread of infection.

UPTET 2022 admission ticket

UPTET tickets will be released on January 12, 2022, from the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB). Candidates will need to download the admission cards again from the official website to know the assigned exam center.

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced a free bus service for candidates to reach the exam centers on January 23rd.

Candidates can download the admission cards once the download link is provided by UPBEB by following the steps below:

Step 1: Visit the official exam website – updeled.gov.in

Step 2: Click the Admission Card download link

Step 3: Enter the login details

Step 4: Download the UPTET admission card

Step 5: make a printout of this

Candidates must bring the admission card to the exam center along with a valid government-issued ID card. Aadhar card, PAN card, voter card, etc. The admission card also serves as an entrance ticket to the examination center. Failure to bring it to the exam location would have ramifications.
